Carnarvon

Friday 21^st May:  

On leaving Denham we had an afternoon and night anchored at Cape Peron, this was our first solo anchorage since leaving Fremantle. It was a nice feeling in some ways, just to be alone for a while and have time to think and talk about what was likely to be ahead for us. 

At sunrise next morning we set sail for Carnarvon.
We enjoyed fantastic hospitality and food at the Carnarvon Yacht Club, the the fish & chips were great! Saturday was a shopping day for all but me, I had some urgent work to attend to. Jill, Paul and Cath attacked Woolies and then picked up our new outboard motor from Nexus Transport. We were amazed that it only cost $44 to freight it up from Perth.
