Gili Aer - or is it Gili Air

I intend to create a complete section on fishing hazards.
This is just one example of what you might come across "in the middle of the night", no there are no lights on these.
Like many places in Indonesia and Malaysia, you will see more than one way of spelling the same name. If you venture ashore, you will often find that the locals spell it a different way again, quite often they just spell things phonetically. For example TAXI is Taksi, works for me!

The main attraction to Gili Aer were the cheap cocktails, Anna had heard that you could get a Pina Clolada for AUD$2. You can and we did, many times.

"At $2 a cocktail Anna, we can afford to stay here for years".

None alcoholic Pina Coladas for Louis...... Yummmm

The wind blew no less than 25kts most of the time while we were on Gili Aer, we still had a fantastic time and look forward to going back there one day. Because of the wind direction more than the wind speed we made the decision to set sail strait for Lovina, rather than Benoa. Even in hind sight, this was a very good decision even though we did miss anchoring in Serangan.

Lovina here we come
