8th September:
As luck would have it, our friends on "Persian Sands" and "Nebula" were already anchored in Faraway bay when we dropped anchor. As always Derrek was quick to jump on the VHF and offer sound advise regarding unmarked rocks and hazards.
Once again we had lot's of fun with them and laughs. While in the King George River, Cathy had developed Prickly Heat Rash, Penny spotted the problem and produced a container of "Prickly heat Powder" strait away. Apparently Peter had also been suffering from this horrible itchy heat rash.
Our friends have now moved on into The King George River and we have been sitting in Faraway Bay for two days, waiting for the weather to do what BOM said it might. We now have little wind from the NE and some clouds in the sky, however according to BOM the next few days will only produce up to 15kts and mainly 10kts from all directions.
So here we go, we are on our way to Darwin and should arrive sometime on Friday 10th September 2010
